Why Take This Course

This three-day class will provide you with a basic understanding of the CMMI® for Development (CMMI-DEV) V1.3 -- the world's leading model for the development of software-intensive systems. The focus is on the content of the model -- i.e., what's inside of the CMMI.


This is the de facto standard way of learning CMMI V1.3, and is only available through in-person, instructor-led training.

Please realize that CMMI V1.3 is being phased out. (Its replacement, CMMI V2.0, has been available since March 2018.) Official CMMI V1.3 appraisals and training will no longer be available after September 2020.

Who Should Attend

If your organization is not already involved in a CMMI V1.3-based improvement initiative, we strongly recommend you take CMMI V2.0 classes rather than V1.3.
